Structural Masonry, Energy efficient building materials, Energy in buildings and, Building materials from industrial & mine solid wastes represent the broad areas of R&D. Some specific R&D programmes include Stabilised mud block technology, stabilised rammed earth structures, masonry shell roofs, micro-level precast roofing systems, Embodied energy in buildings, jack-arch roofing systems, etc.

Entrance Requirements

For Post-graduate studies and Research programmes – qualification in National level entrance test or Masters degree for Ph. D. programme

For short term courses: Graduates in Engineering/Architecture
